DU | Medicine For A Broken Heart A Survey Of Selected Psalms

The preacher Phillips Brooks, said, “In every pew there sits a person with a broken heart.” The Psalms, the hymnbook of the Hebrew people, does not ignore this reality. In every generation, God’s people have known sorrow and heartache. The Psalms have been to them a balm for the soul. Join us for this study of selected Psalms, which will focus on biblical expressions of heartbrokenness and declarations of hope. Rightly referred to as the “medicine cabinet for the soul,” the Psalms offer timeless encouragement and comfort for every aching heart.
