Dr. Jim Wicker grew up here at FBC. He is Professor of New Testament at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a pastor for 19 years prior to teaching at seminary, and he did interim pastorates for another 6 years. He was an adjunct professor in religion at Dallas Baptist University for 24 years. He is Chairman of the Deacon Fellowship & teaches the Wicker Sunday School class at 9:15 am in room 511. His wife, Dana, is Professor of Psychology and Counseling and MA in Christian Counseling Director at Dallas Baptist University. They have 3 grown children.
