SUMMARY:Awana Verse-A-Thon
DESCRIPTION:The Awana Verse-A-Thon will take place on Wednesday\, April 15 at 6:30pm. Families should check in at their Awana classroom. \nOur Awana children will recite Bible verses from their current handbook. This is an opportunity to review verses they have already memorized\, allowing God’s Word to go deeper into their hearts and minds. Money raised during our Verse-A-Thon will be used for Raise the Roof! \nOur First Dallas Kenya Missions teams plant churches with the Kenya Baptist Convention and the East African Christian Ministries. The churches that are planted meet under the trees and anywhere they can to have church. It costs about $1500 to put a roof over each church. With the help of our Awana Verse-A-Thon\, we hope to raise the roof for multiple Kenyan churches that have been planted by our Kenya Missions team! \nPrize Opportunities \n\nAll participants will receive a Bahama Bucks Sno Cone on April 15\nParticipants raising at least $100 will receive a Go! Missions Badge\nTop Donating Team in each age group will receive recognition at the Awana End of Year Award Ceremony\n\nLink for Donations\, Open March 25 – April 20 \nDONATE HERE
