DESCRIPTION:We are excited to welcome guest artist\, Charity Gayle\, to lead worship in Day One on Sunday\, August 21! Join us at 11am in the Historic Sanctuary. \nCharity Gayle \nCharity has been involved in ministry since her childhood. She focuses on blending worship and gospel music for a fresh yet reminiscent sound. Her first album\, Lord You Are My Song\, debuted at #1 in the Christian & Gospel genre and #20 in all genres. Her sophomore album Endless Praise\, featuring the song ‘Thank You Jesus for the Blood’\, also debuted at #1. Charity has been featured on The Emerging Sound albums Volumes one through five\, and most recently\, she received a Dove Award for the song ‘Benediction (As You Go)’ on Selah’s record\, Firm Foundation. \nCharity leads worship with her husband\, Ryan Kennedy. They are cultivating a movement for 24-hour prayer and worship called GatherHouse and are continuing to spread the gospel in the US and globally.

DESCRIPTION:First Baptist Dallas welcomes Allan Taylor as our guest speaker for our 2022 Sunday School Conference on August 21. All Sunday School leaders from preschool to senior adults are encouraged to join us for our annual conference for great food\, fellowship\, and inspiration. The event will begin promptly at 5pm located at CenterStage.  \nAllan Taylor \nAllan Taylor is the Director of Sunday School & Church Education Ministry at Lifeway Christian Resources in Nashville\, TN. He came to this position after serving three churches as Minister of Education: \n\n Beaver Dam Baptist Church\, Knoxville\, TN (1991-1993)\n London Bridge Baptist Church\, Virginia Beach\, VA (1993-1995)\n First Baptist Church\, Woodstock\, GA (1995-2015)\n\nBefore surrendering to full-time Christian service\, Allan was a high school football coach at Fulton High School in Knoxville. \nAllan conducts many Sunday School and Leadership Conferences both nationally and internationally and mentors\, instructs\, and encourages Christian Educators and Sunday School leaders. \nHe has written two Sunday School books: The Six Core Values of Sunday School and Sunday School in HD. \nHe has also equipped thousands of Sunday School leaders through his three DVD training series: Sunday School Done Right\, Forward From Here\, and Sunday School Matters. \nHe and his wife\, Linda\, have been married 40 years and live in their hometown of Knoxville\, TN.  They have three children and three grandchildren.
