DESCRIPTION:First Friday is a monthly gathering of moms with children from birth to sixth grade for refreshing support and encouragement while on the journey of motherhood. We invite speakers to address relevant topics for today’s mothers and then have a “Mommy and Me” activity. \nMay Topic: Anxiety and Kids Through Developmental Stages \n“Mommy and Me” Activity: Flowers for Mom Terracotta Planter \nAbout the Speaker: Julie Crocker\nJulie Crocker is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Texas who has worked in education and ministry for over 25 years. As her growing community emerged from COVID\, she saw the alarming need for practicing Christian counselors. Julie decided to leave her position in children’s ministry to open her counseling practice\, Magnolia Creek Counseling\, where she serves children\, teens\, and families. In addition to a bachelor’s degree in education from Samford University\, she also holds a master’s degree in college administration from the University of Arkansas\, and a master’s degree in counseling from Liberty University.
