SUMMARY:Senior Adults | Sight and Sound Theatre Trip
DESCRIPTION:Our Senior Adults are headed to Lancaster\, Pennsylvania to the Sight & Sound Theatre to see the Moses Production\, as well as tour the Amish Country! \nMay 8 – 12\nWe are pleased to offer you an opportunity for a trip to the Pennsylvania Amish country and surrounding area of Lancaster\, PA where we will attend the production of Moses at the Sight & Sound Theatre\, and visit Longwood Gardens\, Valley Forge\, and Baltimore’s Inner Harbor! We already have several interested parties so don’t wait to register! This trip will sell out quickly!! \nRegistration trip deposit is $500. Full cost is $1\,500 for a double occupancy room. \nREGISTER HERE\nDay 1: Monday\, May 8\nMeet at the church at 5:30AM for the bus trip to Love airport. The flight leaves at 8:25AM and arrives in Baltimore (BWI) at 12:20PM (we lose an hour in flight). We will load the bus and leave there by 1PM. Target is to arrive in Lancaster\, PA around 3PM and enjoy a Step-on Guided Tour of the surrounding Amish countryside. We check into the Eden Resort at 5:30PM. Dinner will be at Bird in Hand around 6:30PM. \nDay 2: Tuesday\, May 9\nWe will enjoy Eden’s “full American Breakfast” at 8AM and leave for the Sight & Sound Theatre at 10AM. The performance of Moses begins at 11AM. We will then have a late lunch\, engage in some afternoon activity and look forward to dinner at the Shady Maple at about 6PM. \nDay 3: Wednesday\, May 10\nThe day begins with Eden’s breakfast at 7:30AM and we head to Longwood Gardens for a tour there. For lunch\, we will dine in Longwood Gardens Café on an a la carte menu. We will then be on to the Kitchen Kettle Village – and shopping! Dinner is on your own at restaurants in the Village. Then it’s back to the Resort! \nDay 4: Thursday\, May 11\nAnother Eden’s breakfast awaits us! Bus leaves for Valley Forge at 9AM arriving at Valley Forge National Park for a tour at about 10AM. After lunch\, we will head to the Baltimore Inner Harbor and check into our hotel around 4PM. Dinner that evening will be along the Inner Harbor. \nDay 5: Friday\, May 12\nWe will begin our day with a light breakfast at the hotel at 8AM and load us for a Step-on Guided Tour of Baltimore. We will have an early lunch and leave for the Baltimore airport by 1PM. The flight leaves at 3:20PM and arrives in Dallas (Love) at 5:40PM.

The artists for the evening have a combined 100+ years of bringing joy to audiences around the world. Their love for the Lord and their God-given talents drive them to deliver excellence in musical entertainment. This is an evening that you do NOT want to miss. Invite your friends and family. \nFirst Dallas’s own Chef Tim is preparing a great meal and we will continue the second act with a coffee and dessert bar. Meal service will begin at 7pm\, and Act 1 will begin at 7:30pm. \nTickets are $20 per person and will be available soon. Seating for the evening is “open” however if you have a large group of at least six people\, you can call Jeff Adams at 214-969-2407 to reserve tables in multiples of “6”. Dress for the evening is business casual. \n“Center Stage” at First Baptist Dallas is located on the third floor of the Criswell Building (1707 San Jacinto.) The best parking is in our Horner Garage behind the Horner Children’s Building located east of St. Paul off San Jacinto. From the Horner Garage\, follow the curved bridge/concourse around past the Worship Center to the Criswell Building. Center Stage is just up the stairs and to the left. \nOur Guest Artists:\nTeresa Maria Gomez\, soprano\, has been a featured soloist with the Dallas Symphony\, Dallas Wind Symphony\, Plano Symphony\, El Paso Symphony\, Missouri Symphony Orchestra\, Knoxville Symphony\, the Symphonic Orchestra of Slovak Radio\, and the Israeli Chamber Orchestra. Ms. Gomez was voted “Most Outstanding Senior in Music” by the College of Music Faculty at the University of North Texas where she received her Bachelor of Music degree. Teresa was the winner of the Grady Harlen Award for the “Most Outstanding Performer” in the National Association of Teachers of Singing competition. She and her husband\, Paul\, reside in Rogers\, AR where she teaches voice and piano and is the Director of Music at the First Baptist Church of Lowell. \nMiriam Wallace got her start as a professional singer and pianist in Abilene\, Texas during the 1980s\, was a featured singer with DFW party bands since the 90s\, and continues to sing and play throughout Texas. She is also a worship leader and facilitator for ministry events for over 30 years. She and her husband\, Matt live on the Wallace family farm in central Texas and continue to “minister to ministers” and facilitate greater good work via their non-profit\, International Covered Ministries. Miriam also can be seen live-streaming weekly on Twitch.TV as “MutherMirm” where she sings and plays requests from her 1000+ song repertoire. \nMorgan Wallace Tremillo is a worship leader\, vocal coach\, and performer who established herself as a driving musical force in DFW and now resides in San Antonio\, Texas. At age 17\, she self-released her debut album “Progressions\,” a collection of solo classical piano works that showcase a musical maturity that was well beyond her years. Morgan furthered her musical studies at the University of North Texas\, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Studies with an emphasis in Vocal Performance in 2016. She is often acclaimed for her rich\, velvety voice\, her warm and charismatic stage presence\, and clever arrangements. She is the Worship & Disciple-Making Minister at First Baptist Church of Castroville\, Texas.
