DESCRIPTION:Biographies encourage us\, often teaching us life lessons and motivation to be of good cheer. You are invited to join us at the Truett Library for a day filled with biography exploration and prizes! From Sunday\, June 30 to Sunday\, July 21\, all ages are welcomed to come and enjoy our library’s selection\, fill out your reading log\, and choose your earned prize. There is a variety to explore\, including books\, audiobooks\, and DVDs that are all biographies of Christians. Then in August\, experience our library’s fellowship through our celebration in CenterStage\, and enjoy a meal prepared by Chef Tim and his team while trophies are presented. Let’s cheer one another on during this exciting event!

SUMMARY:Summer Reading Club for Children
DESCRIPTION:Dive into a good story this summer with the Truett Library Summer Reading Club! Children from toddlers–6th graders can visit the library to check out books/audiobooks\, read/listen\, and return them for a prize\, beginning Sunday\, June 2–23. For more information and to register\, come to Truett Library\, located under the Historic Sanctuary. There are so many wonderful stories to dive into and explore—how many will you have on your reading log? \nOur Summer Reading Club is more than just a fun and exciting time for children to earn prizes for their reading\, it’s an opportunity for parents to honor Ephesians 6:4b to “bring [their children] up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord” and encourage them to think on the things Paul encourages us to dwell on in Philippians 4:8\, whatever is true\, honest\, just\, pure\, lovely\, of good report\, virtuous\, and praiseworthy. The goal of our reading club is that\, through each book\, children will learn more about Jesus\, come to faith in Him\, and learn to walk in biblical truth. Truett Library holds a wealth of literature in all genres for all ages\, so whether you have a child who wants to partake in our Summer Reading Club or you want to “dive into a good story” yourself\, come visit the library below the Historic Sanctuary!

Be encouraged by books\, CDs\, and DVDs from Truett Library\, and once you’re finished\, bring them back to collect a prize. We will host a celebration dinner for all participants in August.
