Hog Hunt

Join us for an exciting hog hunt in the heart of West Texas on April 18-19, 2025. We’ll be hunting in Carbon and staying in Eastland, just a short ten-minute drive away. The hunting style will be stalking at night with thermals, and guides will divide the group into two teams to cover different fields. Each team will have access to a couple of thermals, but if you have your own night vision, green light, or thermal scope, you are encouraged to bring it.

The cost is $125 per person, which covers the hunting portion only. Participants will need to reserve their own accommodations in Eastland. The La Quinta and Holiday Inn Express are good options.

We will meet at Community Baptist Church in Carbon at 3pm on Friday, April 18, where a late lunch will be provided before the evening hunt. Around 5:30pm, we will head to the fields, beginning before sunset and continuing into the early hours of the night, depending on success.

What to bring:

• Rifle with a .223 round or larger, scope, and either night vision, thermal, or green light
• Ammunition
• Snacks
• Boots (there are snakes)
• Long pants
