Hog Hunt
March 29 - March 30
$100All First Dallas men, along with their fathers, sons, or friends, are invited to join our annual weekend Hog Hunt, offered March 29–30.
Join us for a hog hunt in the heart of West Texas. We’ll be hunting around the town of Carbon and staying in Eastland, which is just a short ten-minute drive away. The hunting style will be stalking at night with thermals. The guides will divide the group into two teams. Each team will drive to separate fields looking for hogs. The guides have a couple of thermals for each group. If you have your own night vision, green light, or thermal, please bring it!
Please note that the fee is just for the hunting portion. You will need to reserve your own room in Eastland. The La Quinta and the Holiday Inn Express are good options.
We will meet at the Community Baptist Church in Carbon at 3pm on Friday, March 29. They have an outdoor pavilion and a kitchen. Our team will prepare a late lunch, so that everyone can eat prior to the hunt that evening. Around 5:30pm, we’ll head to the field to hunt before it gets dark. Once the light is gone, we’ll move from field to field. Depending on success, plan to hunt into the late hours of the night/early hours of the morning.
