Serve Dallas
We are excited to be able to serve with Children’ Hunger Fund for Serve Dallas on August 23. Serve Dallas is our opportunity to help where we can and do what Christ has called us to do, which is serve everyone!
The plan is to meet at Children’s Hunger Fund in Frisco, Texas. Please wear your Serve Dallas T-shirts. More Details will be sent out the week prior.
In addition to Serve Dallas with Children’s Hunger Fund, one of our annual projects is filling food pak’s for Children’s Hunger Fund. See the details below on how you can help fight childhood hunger here in DFW.
CHILDREN’S HUNGER FUND FOOD PAK PROJECT:
In addition to serving in-person with CHF, we are hosting a Project Food Pak drive to provide food for undernourished children in the DFW area. Starting August 2nd-August 23rd, food paks will be available for pick-up on the Skybridge, Criswell Lobby and 7th floor Horner. Individual food paks are available as well as a case pack, which includes four food packs that will feed a family with multiple children.
FILLING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Take an individual food pak or the entire box (which includes 4 food paks)
- Fill them with the enclosed shopping list
- Return them to First Baptist Dallas by August 24
The cost to fill a case pak is around $50, with a recommended $5 processing fee donation.
**Please stick to the food items list inside the box. Please do not ADD or SUBTRACT items.
RETURN INSTRUCTIONS:
To return your food pak, simply fill the food pack with the items on the list provided and return any time before August 24th to the Criswell Lobby, just inside the doors from the valet.
