Summer Reading Club for Children

June 2 - June 23

Dive into a good story this summer with the Truett Library Summer Reading Club! Children from toddlers–6th graders can visit the library to check out books/audiobooks, read/listen, and return them for a prize, beginning Sunday, June 2–23. For more information and to register, come to Truett Library, located under the Historic Sanctuary. There are so many wonderful stories to dive into and explore—how many will you have on your reading log?

Our Summer Reading Club is more than just a fun and exciting time for children to earn prizes for their reading, it’s an opportunity for parents to honor Ephesians 6:4b to “bring [their children] up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord” and encourage them to think on the things Paul encourages us to dwell on in Philippians 4:8, whatever is true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, virtuous, and praiseworthy. The goal of our reading club is that, through each book, children will learn more about Jesus, come to faith in Him, and learn to walk in biblical truth. Truett Library holds a wealth of literature in all genres for all ages, so whether you have a child who wants to partake in our Summer Reading Club or you want to “dive into a good story” yourself, come visit the library below the Historic Sanctuary!
