We will be holding multiple interest meetings for anyone who would like to learn more.
The dates for the interest meetings are as follows:
- Wednesday, March 25 at 1pm
- Tuesday, March 31at 3pm
- Thursday, April 9 at 11am
What Is This Program?
This program is designed for students who are called by God into ministry and are seeking hands-on experience in a local church.
- A paid internship in a specific area of ministry at First Baptist Dallas
- Open to current college students, seminary or master’s students, or recent grads
- Focused on spiritual formation, ministry experience, and leadership development
What Will You Do?
As a First Dallas intern, you will:
- Gain practical experience in your ministry area
- Learn how the church functions through trainings and shadowing
- Participate in weekly cohort meetings with the other interns
- Be mentored by another ministry leader
Andrew Bobo
Associate Executive Pastor, Practical Theology
Andrew became a member at First Baptist Dallas in 2012 and has been on staff full-time since 2020. He serves as teacher of the Credo Sunday School class. Andrew has received a Master of Theology in historical theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and Master of Public Service Administration from the Bush School of Government at Texas A&M University. He is currently working toward a PhD in political philosophy in the Institute of Philosophic Studies program at the University of Dallas. Andrew and his wife Ana have four children.
