We are encouraging First Baptist Dallas to make this summer a season of accelerated spiritual growth and preparation for Christ’s return. To equip you to do this, we’ve released a new discipleship guide—Be Prepared. This guide will walk you through Matthew 24–25 and help you examine whether you’re truly ready for Christ’s return. Be Prepared is brief booklet includes devotional content, Scripture, and application questions—along with a discipleship challenge for you to complete over the summer. We’ll also have a two-week sermon series from Dr. Ben Lovvorn and a mid-week podcast series to help you along the way.
Be Prepared Book
The Christian life is one of perpetual urgency and readiness. Christ called us to always “be alert, since you don’t know what day your Lord is coming” (Matthew 24:42). The Be Prepared discipleship guide is intended to equip you to use your summer to answer Christ’s call. Inside you’ll find a foreword from Dr. Robert Jeffress, key biblical passages and reflection questions, as well as a summer discipleship challenge from Dr. Ben Lovvorn.
