Serve Dallas

Serve Dallas

Serve Dallas is a churchwide opportunity to gather and make a difference in our community by serving through our local mission partners. In just one day, volunteers experience a little bit of what our local partners do every day, giving each volunteer a greater appreciation for what our mission partners do. Serving is truly a privilege, and as a church, we count it an absolute honor to be able to serve our city.

Loving Our Neighbors with Lake June Baptist

On November 15, we are serving with our sister church Lake June to pass out Thanksgiving food packs to families that need them in their community and share the gospel. Each family we minister to has been in contact with the church and has agreed for our team to stop by. If you would like to serve at this event, please register below.

You can also help in a big way by purchasing a food pack. Our team will get food for each of the packs and have a packing party on Wednesday, November 12.

On Saturday, December 20, we will partner with Operation Care for their Christmas Gift event to support and show love to the homeless and impoverished in DFW. On this day, we will support them by helping them run a successful event through several serving opportunities.

OPERATION CARE COAT DRIVE

As a church, we will host a winter coat drive from November 16 to December 14. Please ONLY bring a new or gently used winter coat to the church. Please place your coat inside the large metal bins. Donated coats will be distributed to families and children at the Christmas gift event.

Event details:

  • Coat Drive Bins will be placed around campus as drop-off locations for the weeks leading up to the main Serve Day. These will be located on HFC7, WC1 by the fountain, and CCLobby by the Welcome Center.

  • Coat Drive at the Fountain Valet will take place on December 19th 7 am to 7 pm. People can drive by and drop off their new or gently used coats with the operation care team.

  • Serve Day at the Convention Center will take place on December 20th with a 7am start. It is Operation Care’s Christmas party for Jesus! This is a day when we can help the homeless by serving them at various stations. Shoes, coats, haircuts, and sharing the gospel all along the way.
