Clark, and enjoy a fish fry, prizes, and great fellowship with other men. Tickets are available for only $20; registration is coming soon.

What does it mean to be “fishers of men?” As disciples of Christ, we are called to be disciples who make disciples. The world around us—the pool where we fish—is becoming more and more contaminated every day. Some might even say that it’s not worth our time to keep fishing, that “somebody poisoned the water hole.” Yes, we know that the enemy is working overtime to convince the lost world around us that (1) God isn’t real. (2) Christians are crazy. (3) The Christian life is chasing after a lost myth and a false hope. (4) There are other ways to reach God apart from Christ. and more. But what you and I know is that we’ve been called by God to reach others with the hope of the gospel. We are His messengers. Paul in Galatians 6:9 tells us, “Do not grow weary in doing good.” Our reward awaits us in heaven. Until that time, we need to be faithful to always be “fishers of men.”
