This page has everything you need to participate in Spring Training for the next five weeks!

Spring Training is a churchwide five-week emphasis on spiritual growth and formation. This year, we will focus together on five prayers for a transformed heart, which will have us reading, praying, and reflecting on selected chapters from the Psalms. The goal is to more fully abide in Christ each day and align our desires with His will.

Weekly Intros & Recaps

Spring Training: Transformed Heart is built around five prayers from the Psalms, prayed over the course of five weeks, with one goal: to be changed from the inside out. We have written an intro for each week to help you think about the kind of change that God wants to make in our hearts as we pray each Psalm, praying God’s Word back to Him each day. We have an online version of each week’s intro, an audio edition you can listen to on the go, and a weekly recap of key takeaways from our Executive Pastor, Dr. Ben Lovvorn.

Click the links below to access these resources for each week!

You can download a free digital version of this year’s Spring Training journal below. The journal has the weekly intros, as well as a step by step guide for each week with reflection questions to help you go deeper into what God is teaching you.

Week 3 | How God’s Wisdom Becomes Sweet

We know that our highest good is to be near God, to cling to Him, and to live for Him. But how do we actually do that? What kind of life would that create for me—given my circumstances, my relationships, my opportunities, and my personality?

Week 4 | Actively Waiting on God

Self-reliance works as motivation for entrepreneurs, but it is deadly to a biblical spirituality. You can’t white-knuckle the Christian life. There are no “self-transformed” hearts . . .
