SHIFT | Grief Support for Kids & Teens

When the “shifts” of life occur, the aftermath is unpredictable and rarely stable.
SHIFT is an 11-week grief support program for kids and teens, 3rd–12th grade, who are grieving the death of a loved one. SHIFT features facilitators who have experienced loss, as well as a small group of kids from their age group who are also processing the death of a loved one. SHIFT utilizes age-appropriate lessons and activities to help them explore their grief and God’s promises regarding comfort, healing, hope, and eternity.
The Summer 2024 semester of SHIFT will meet on HFC Level 6 on Wednesdays from 6:30–8pm from Wednesday, May 29–Wednesday, August 14. Registration cost is $15 per child or $30 per family.
