Our mission as a church is clear: to proclaim the gospel in every corner of the world and to show the love of Christ to everyone we meet. This is also the heartbeat of the Missions Ministry at First Baptist Dallas. We are excited to welcome the possibility of having you join one of our trips in 2024.

Trip Details

The overall cost of the Guatemala Trips is $2000. A refundable down payment of $500 is required to secure your spot on one of our teams. Payments can be made in installments. Final payments are due by June 15. This price covers airfare and in-country expenses, like ground transportation, food, and lodging.

Guatemala – Construction

Our construction and VBS team will be headed to Guatemala on July 13–21, 2024. For four days, the team will be building homes, bunk beds, and stoves for families (typically single mothers and many children). All the while, we take every opportunity to share the gospel. This is where our VBS team comes in. While part of our team is building the homes, our VBS team will share the gospel using coloring books and stickers with the children and the moms.

Guatemala – Medical

Our medical team travels to small outlying locations each day to host medical clinics. We host four successive days of clinics that draw from 50–150 people with a variety of health needs, many of them basic. The goal is to minister to everyone spiritually while we help meet their medical needs. While our medical team is handling things at the clinics, we have a VBS for the children and families that attend the four days of medical clinics. We have developed a program that helps share the gospel which we use to minister to everyone who arrives for the clinics. We see 50–200 children at a single medical clinic.
