One of the goals of the Young Married Life Ministry is to become the go-to ministry in DFW for all things regarding Marriage & Family Life. Whether engaged couples looking for pre-marital support and mentoring, newly-wed couples seeking to establish a new church home, young families needing support with the early days of parenthood, or growing families searching for resources to navigate the pre-teen and teen years, we want our church to be the first place they look when searching for biblically based support and authentic Christian community.
Because we believe marriages are so important, we have designated February as “Marriage Month” here at First Baptist Dallas! Beginning Sunday, February 4, engaged and married couples can enjoy four ways to say “yes” to a better marriage. Here is a sneak peek at all the exciting programs coming this February!
Re|Engage (Begins Sunday, February 4 | 9:15am | HFC709): Re|Engage is a 12-week marriage enrichment course that brings couples together to learn about God’s design for marriage and apply biblical principles for building a healthy relationship. How We Love (Begins Sunday, February 4 | 9:15am | HFC718) Are you a Pleaser, an Avoider, a Vacillator, or a Controller? How We Love is a 4-week book study that helps married couples identify the sources of roadblocks in their marriage and how to address them. The study is free, but pre-registration is requested. Nearly Wed Seminar (Begins Sunday, February 4 | 11am | HFC718): Are you engaged or seriously dating? The Nearly Wed Seminar will provide you and your significant other with teaching and mentorship imperative for a successful and God-honoring marriage. The First Dallas Nearly Wed Seminar is sanctioned by the state of Texas and includes eight classroom sessions, a weekend retreat, three mentoring sessions, and more!
