The New Life Bible class systematically studies a book of the Bible as their curriculum, with a lecture teaching style complete with PowerPoint slides. This class offers an in-depth, verse-by-verse approach to Bible study. The class has an active prayer ministry. We enjoy fellowship time before our class time and have regularly scheduled fellowships throughout the year.
The class teacher, Dr. Craig Blaising, is a Distinguished Research Professor of Theology and Jesse Hendley Chair of Biblical Theology at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Blasing has a gift for sifting complex theological matters into easy-to-understand thoughts and applying them to daily life. He and his wife, Diane, live in Fort Worth.
