Training and curriculum will be provided by Pastoral Counseling staff.
Facilitators and administrative volunteers are needed for the following groups:
- DivorceCare: 13-week group for those recently separated or divorced. (Sunday nights during the Discipleship University semester, January 11-March 8, 2026)
- GriefShare: 13-week group for those experiencing the death of a loved one. (Sunday nights during the Discipleship University semester, January 11-March 8, 2026)
- Christian Survivors of Suicide Loss: A bi-monthly support group for those who have been affected by suicide. (Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 6:30pm)
- Luke 15: Reaching Your Prodigal – A support group for those who have been affected by loved ones who have walked away from the faith.
- First Dallas Cancer Support Group – A faith-based time of connection and encouragement for anyone impacted by cancer – whether you’re a patient, survivor, or caregiver. (Meets the second Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8pm, located in WC1-1)
- Dementia Caregiver Support Group – The Dementia caregiver support group meets the 4th Monday of every month from 12-1:30pm in the Missions Room, WC-1. Cari Martin, facilitator.
