$5 – $20Kick off your boots and stay awhile on January 27 for our 2023 Bluegrass Boots Bash! Plan on joining us for an exciting western-themed night of fellowship involving a hearty meal and incredible live country music with The Family Sowell. Their talented family of six plays a wide range of instruments like the banjo, guitar, bassist, mandolinist, and fiddle. Plus, their youngest musician is only 16 years old. As believers of Jesus Christ, they specialize in sacred and bluegrass tunes.
Cost is $20 for each adult, and $5 for kids ages five through 12. Families, bring your children to witness these incredible, young musicians. This is a great opportunity to spark musical interest in your kids! The Sowell Family – our entertainers – all started playing as soon as they were old enough to hold an instrument.
The Family Sowell is an all-sibling, contemporary bluegrass band from Knoxville, Tennessee, featuring driving instrumentation, tight family harmony, and original songs written straight from the heart. Their music melds passion and love together with a good dose of laughter, creating an authentic performance that inspires audiences everywhere. The band consists of six siblings, ages 24-16, with Joshua on guitar, Naomi on bass, Abigail on mandolin, John-Mark on fiddle, and Justus on dobro — Abigail, Joshua, and John-Mark bring the vocal harmonies to complete the ensemble. Their latest album, “Story to Tell”, features all original music and showcases the heartbeat of their music and what they strive to do.
