Why Are We Concerned?

• Plans are under way for the East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC City) in the Metroplex, to include a new mosque, more than 1,000 homes, an Islam-based school, commercial developments, and a community college.
• Actions point to this movement as part of a strategic plan to replace our government and its laws with an Islamic Caliphate (Islamic form of government) governed by Islamic (Sharia) laws. 
• Islamic teachings require complete submission and servitude to Islam, it’s enforcement by Sharia Law, and the death of God-given liberties including the freedom of worship. 

What You Can Do
Contact your state representatives.  www.capitol.texas.gov 

• Request state legislation be enacted to provide that no Islamic law (sharia law) be allowed in Texas, and that no Islamic courts be permitted. 
• Be clear and persistent in your communications.  We find many representatives are ignorant of the threat that Islam presents to Texas.  Be informed. 

Advocate for a Constitutional Amendment.  

• Important:  Request the Texas Constitution be amended to state that Texas and U.S. laws are not to be superseded by any other Law. 

Familiarize yourself with state legislation that favors Islam.  www.capitol.texas.gov 

• Find a list of filed bills and follow their status under, “How Do I?” 

Share the Gospel with Muslims and pray for them.
Engage lovingly with Muslims, sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. 

• Pray Intentionally: 
  • For the salvation of Muslims 
  • For the peace of Israel and Jerusalem 
  • For Christians living in Muslim nations 
  • For Muslims to have an increased curiosity about the gospel 
  • For Christians who have Muslim friends, that they may be bold and compassionate witnesses
