We believe our job as the church of Jesus Christ is to
transform our world with God’s Word…one life at a time.
Our mission is based on the Great Commission – “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20).
We seek to accomplish this goal by focusing ministry efforts locally, nationally, and internationally through four key strategies: worship, equip, serve, and influence.

VBS
We invite children ages three through 6th grade to join us the week of July 14-18, everyday from 9am-12:30pm, for Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Dallas! This year’s theme, “Magnified!” is based on Psalm 34:3, where children will discover the bigness of God in the smallest of things through Bible lessons, music, crafts, scavenger hunts, and more! This week will be one that your child will never forget!

Freedom Sunday
Get ready for a special Freedom Sunday event at First Dallas on June 29, where we will celebrate our freedom as Americans and in Christ. This year’s program will include patriotic music, a salute to our armed forces, and an inspiring message from Lieutenant General Richard M. Clark. As we reflect on the blessings of liberty and those who have fought for our freedoms, we’ll be reminded of the incredible sacrifices that have been made for our country and our faith.
