Service Projects
First Baptist Dallas has some reserved spots for several special projects. You can register by clicking the links below. Please note that, for several of these projects, volunteers will gather at other hubs to be sent out.
EXALL PARK LAWN PARTY AND OUTREACH
(FBD Hub | Saturday Only – 1707 San Jacinto St)
Invitations will be sent to neighborhoods surrounding Exall Park inviting families and residents to join us for a lawn party. We will have bounce houses for kids, a food truck, soccer open play, and more! We are inviting volunteers who are a part of First Dallas en Español and others who are willing to connect with the Bryan Place residents.

EXODUS MINISTRIES FLOORING
(Northway Hub – 3877 Walnut Hill Lane)
Exodus Ministries helps moms with children who have just gotten out of prison. They share Christ and help them get back on their feet. Volunteers will be laying flooring in two rooms of an apartment.

BUCKNER INTERNATIONAL
(Mesquite Friendship Hub – 680 E. US Highway 80)
Buckner is an international ministry that transforms the lives of vulnerable children, enriches the lives of senior adults, and builds strong families through Christ-centered values. Volunteers will contribute their efforts in a warehouse setting for Buckner International handling shoe donations to prepare them to be shared with those in need.

LAKE JUNE BAPTIST CHURCH REMODEL
(Mesquite Friendship Hub – 680 E. US Highway 80)
Lake June Baptist Church needs to update their facilities to best serve their church family and community. Volunteers will aid Lake June Baptist Church in refreshing and remodeling their worship center, contributing to the enhancement of their worship space with carpeting, new chairs, and paint.

INVOLVED FOR LIFE
(FBD Hub – 1707 San Jacinto St)
Involved for Life is a pregnancy resource center with the goal of giving Texas women high-quality, life-affirming healthcare options while offering them the greatest hope we have of abundant life in Jesus Christ. Volunteers will assist with renovating their space by replacing the flooring in areas used to serve patients in order to modernize the look of the space and make it easier to clean and sanitize.

VOICE OF HOPE

Voice of Hope offers a variety of services to the south Dallas community from after school programs to food assistance. They have a portable unit they use for supplies, Bible study classrooms, and storage. Volunteers will help construct a new storage shed and repair their existing shed roof.

LOGOS FELLOWSHIP

Logos Fellowship church is a local church plant that serves the community through outreach, missions, and evangelism. Volunteers will be putting in new flooring in classroom spaces.

SALAAM ARABIC CHURCH BLOCK PARTY

First Baptist Dallas is planning an outreach event in partnership with a new Arabic Church Plant, Salaam Arabic Church, to reach out to an underprivileged neighborhood in NE Dallas where there are a lot of refugees.

Volunteer Celebration Rally
On Saturday, March 16, at 5:30pm in CenterStage, First Baptist Dallas will host a concluding rally for volunteers from all Dallas hubs to celebrate what God did through the Send Relief Serve Tour. There will be a time of fellowship and food, worship led by the First Dallas Band-Led team, and an encouraging word.

CenterStage on Level 3 of the Criswell Center at First Baptist Dallas, located at 1707 San Jacinto St.
Parking and Directions
Free parking is available in the Horner Parking Garage, located at 1935 San Jacinto St, Dallas, TX 75201. You may enter the First Dallas campus from the southwest corner of Level 3 of the Horner Parking Garage, you should see signs for “Kids Cove.” From there, cross the skybridge and curve to the right, going past the big staircase and turning left. CenterStage is past the big staircase that leads down to the Criswell Lobby and to the left. An elevator is available as well at the base of the stairs.
