Sunday School in our Special Friends Ministry is a place for solid Bible teaching, energetic praise, and warm fellowship. We meet at 9:15am on the 1st floor of the Spurgeon Harris Building (entrance near the corner of Akard & Patterson streets).
Friends build supportive relationships with each other and our team of volunteers. They grow in their relationship with Jesus through each element of our time together.
Fellowship – Our morning starts with coffee, refreshments, and time to just hang out and talk.
Praise – We love to sing to the Lord and make a joyful noise with instruments.
Prayer – Friends share prayer concerns in small groups around the table as we take our cares to the Father and pray for one another.
Bible Study – We have a team of teachers who rotate leading the lesson each week using the Access curriculum by Lifeway designed specifically for adults with special needs.
Our Sunday School music and lesson are also available on our YouTube channel, FBD Special Friends.
