The Anthems of the Season

“O holy night the stars are brightly shining.”
“The First Noel, the Angels did say.”
“Come, adore on bended knee, Christ the Lord, the newborn King.”
“Do you hear what I hear?”
These lyrics and so many more are the anthems of the season. We hear them playing in shopping malls, coffee shops, on the radio, and in churches. But so often, amidst the hustle and bustle of the season, we can forget what they mean.
Over the next 25 days leading up to Christmas, the First Dallas Staff wrote and recorded devotionals to encourage you, to challenge you, to remind you, and to point you to Jesus. We hope you enjoy 25 Carols of Christmas. And we hope this season fills you with joy and hope as we celebrate the God we sing about—the God who sent His Son as a baby to be the Savior of the world.
